Climate Finance Access Network

BwB had the pleasure to participate in the first ever Climate Finance Access Network (CFAN) write-shop, leading the sessions on financial structuring and modelling for the full cohort of CFAN Advisors representing Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.

Our Managing Director, William Watts, and Senior Analyst, Matteo Scalabrino, flew to Fiji to provide individualised financial training and support for Advisors’ projects in renewable energies, agriculture, forestation, blue economy, and mobility.

We would like to thank Climate Finance Access Network (CFAN) for the invitation and the great organisation of the event, and the other training partners E Co. and Pacific Climate Change Centre for the collaboration and time together.

Financing SDGs in the Pacific islands represent a unique opportunity, but also imply huge challenges and, as BwB, we are proud to be on the front line of the development of climate finance knowledge and expertise in the region.
